What is Soft Tissue Therapy?
Soft Tissue Therapy can also be referred to as Myofascial Release. Soft tissue therapy is an effective hands-on therapy (often sought out by athletes, however, anyone can get it done) which can directly change and improve the health of the fascia and muscles. The purpose of soft tissue therapy is to break down scar tissue, relax the muscle and myofascia. Soft tissue release techniques focus on relaxing tense deep tissue of the body providing lasting and effective relief.

How does Soft Tissue Therapy feel?
Soft Tissue Therapy will feel a little sore during and following the treatment session which typically lasts approximately 15 to 30 minutes. The patient will often feel great after several treatments especially as the tight and tense muscle begin to release the scar tissue restrictions. Muscles will feel freer and looser and you will get an immediate sense of increased flexibility. You often get some immediate relief from the pain, especially from problems tendonitis, tennis elbow and carpal tunnel syndrome. As a practitioner, we can often feel the lump of scar tissue or restricted area and we work to loosen the area.
