Shoulder Fracture

fractureA fracture involves a partial or total crack through a bone. This usually occurs due to a traumatic event that occurs to the shoulder such as a fall or blow. The shoulder will fracture at the clavicle (collarbone) or along the arm bone. If you fracture your shoulder, you will experience severe pain, swelling, bruising and redness in the area. X-Rays are used to confirm a fracture. Fracture is usually treated by slinging the bones into place. Exercises are also apart of restoring the shoulder strength and motion.
